The Review
This was such an insightful and engaging nonfiction read. The author does a wonderful job of balancing out healthy living with delicious recipes. For such a short read, the author manages to pack in a lot of detail, including the benefits spices can bring to a dish.
What really stood out about this book was the way the author delved into family tradition and recipes. Well, still maintaining a modern cooking style. The author’s writing itself was very heartening. It was something that readers could personally relate to. I think we will also really enjoy the book’s interactive nature, as readers are given a journal, prompts, and areas to test the recipes, making the book feel well-represented and inspiring at the same time.
