This was a lighthearted and inspiring read.  The author did a wonderful job of crafting a narrative that would appeal to young readers and parents alike, delving into a child’s first foray into the world that brings both fright and excitement. The pacing of the story and the relatability of the characters will allow young readers to connect to the story and the lessons found within more, and give the reader a feeling of both amusement and inspiration.

The heart of this book lay in the inspiring message the book delivered and the bright illustrations that helped bring that message to life so perfectly.
