When it comes to music in general, there is something just magical about a live performance. While records are great ways to draw listeners into a band’s fan base, the intimate, community-driven nature of a rock show creates an almost ethereal emotion that audiences can really connect with.
Flowers for Juno has captured that raw feeling and emotion in their latest release, “Live at Tyne Green Golf Club.” Featuring two new tracks, the band’s latest release holds on to their iconic blood-pumping rhythms and soft melodic vocals. To me, the band almost evokes a sound similar to She Wants Revenge and its hit single “Tear You Apart”, bringing the dark tones of a heavy metal/rock band while also capturing sweet harmonies and vocals that hone in on the emotional depth of each song.
This latest release features two amazing tracks. The first, titled “It’s Not My Fault”, catches in an almost 80s metal hair band vibe while blending it with those dark metal undertones. The second track, titled “Physical Culture”, really brings the live performance aspect of this release to the forefront while also balancing powerful vocals with a heavy rock meets 80s synth vibe. Both tracks are fun, emotive, and two songs worthy of the title “head banger”. The crowd’s reaction to each track helps elevate the passion that each long evokes in the audience. If you haven’t yet, be sure to stream these two amazing tracks today!
