This was a brilliantly written techno thriller. The Author does a wonderful job of world-building in this narrative, making the world feel dystopian and realistic all at once. The level of detail the author puts into their writing style, using powerful imagery, makes the story feel alive on the page and keeps the reader fully immersed in this world of conspiracy and mistrust.

The character development is incredible as well. Agent Reyes is a relatable and engaging protagonist, and the conspiracy surrounding this tone among those who follow the architect adds to the thriller’s tension and atmospheric nature. The author introduces just enough elements to keep the sci-fi aspect of the story alive, yet grounds it enough to make it feel like a world not that far removed from our own, bringing aspects of shows like Black Mirror to life on the page.

The Verdict
