The Synopsis

Arthur has lived all of his life in friendly rivalry with his brother, Michael, a respected police officer with a lavish life. After a health scare ignites his spiritual curiosity, everything changes. Soon, an angel begins visiting Arthur in the middle of the night.

The figure is not benevolent, but unsettling, relentless, and absolute about its prophetic message. It tells Arthur that he has been chosen to prevent the rise of the Antichrist. The Antichrist, it claims, is his brother, Michael.

What Arthur isn’t initially aware of is that his brother is having the same nightly visions. Each night, a mysterious creature appears with its own message and its own version of the truth. He is told that Arthur is the true threat, and that stopping him is the only way to prevent an apocalypse of biblical proportions.

As the brothers struggle to keep their feet planted in reality, their lives begin to unravel. Faith, paranoia, and duty to their calling collide as each man becomes increasingly convinced that he alone has been chosen to save the world.

With time running out and violence ready to erupt, the question becomes unavoidable. Is one of them truly destined to stop an unspeakable evil, or are both brothers being manipulated toward a tragic and irreversible end?

Two Saviors is a psychological thriller that explores themes like spiritual delusion, the collapse of brotherhood, and the terrifying consequences of believing with no room for doubt.

THE REVIEW

Such a compelling and gripping psychological read. The author does a great job of using in-depth character development alongside possible supernatural elements in this narrative. The rich imagery and the author’s writing style in the fast-paced thriller kept the reader fully immersed in the world the author had created and allowed the story to really flourish.

The themes explored in this book and the dynamics between the characters made this such a compelling story to consume. Exploring the depths and horrors that could come from blind religious fervor as well as the bonds of family and how sometimes the road paved with good intentions could ultimately lead to a hell of our own making drive the story forward in a haunting, yet beautiful way, and the relationship between the two brothers and the relatable and heartbreaking back stories behind their lives will keep readers firmly invested in the narrative.

THE VERDICT

Haunting, entertaining, and wildly thrilling, author Benjamin Card’s “Two Saviors” is a dynamic and compelling psychological thriller-meets-supernatural read. Several times throughout this book, readers will begin questioning not only the characters but themselves, as the reality of what the supernatural being is and whether the brothers share a deeper connection comes to life on the page and keeps the reader emotionally invested in the final outcome these brothers face.
