THE REVIEW

This was an informed and well-written book. The author does a fantastic job of laying out a practical guide to how AI works and how it functions across multiple avenues of everyday life. The Author balances plain-language explanations of how AI works with clear statistics, facts, and case studies that support the author’s position on artificial intelligence and how it functions in our lives today.

What really stood out in this book was not only its focus on how artificial intelligence works and how it can be integrated into society without losing the human element, but also on the ethics of artificial intelligence itself. Rather than using AI to fearmonger or glorify it, the author highlights both its benefits and shortcomings and why humanity must be involved in AI to rule out the flaws and errors it can make. This promotes a healthy balance and highlights the need for responsible and ethical use of the technology.

THE VERDICT

Insightful, compelling, and engaging, author DELPHIN B. KYUBWA’s “Making Sense of AI” is a must-read non-fiction book on artificial intelligence.
