The emotional bedrock on which this book was founded allowed readers to experience nostalgia as well, as if sitting with loved ones and reminiscing about the past as they scroll through family photo albums.
The balance of personal storytelling with an introspective look at how faith played a role in the author’s life was perfect. Those who find comfort in their faith, and in Christianity in particular, will feel drawn to the author’s tale, and the way the author’s story came through so naturally allowed both the feel-good moments and the tragic ones to feel like a well-lived journey readers went on with the author. The personal family photos allowed readers to feel particularly connected to the author.
