1) Tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you get into writing?

I’ve always been someone who tries to help as many people as I can. Throughout my career in sales and leadership, I found myself naturally mentoring, coaching, and encouraging people who felt stuck or overlooked. Writing felt like a way to take those conversations beyond one room or one person and reach a much wider audience.

Growing up, I knew what it felt like to be different, and at times, that can be a lonely place to be. I had to fight my way toward becoming who I am today, learning through trial, failure, and a lot of self reflection. Writing became a way to share those lessons with others who might be walking a similar path. If I can help someone see their uniqueness not as a limitation but as an advantage, then there’s nothing more meaningful to me than that.

2) What inspired you to write your book?

The inspiration came from watching how many talented, capable people were holding themselves back because they felt they had to fit into someone else’s version of success. I saw it in clients, colleagues, and even in myself at different points. There was this quiet pressure to blend in, to be “professional,” and to downplay the very things that made us different.

I wrote this book because I’ve lived the consequences of hiding who I was and the freedom that came from finally owning it. Once I stopped trying to be what I thought people wanted and started leaning into my authenticity, everything changed, from my confidence to my career. I wanted to create something that helps people recognize that their uniqueness isn’t something to overcome, it’s something to build from.

3) What theme or message do you hope readers will take away from your book?

The main message I hope readers take away is that the very things they’ve been told to hide or “fix” are often their greatest strengths. We live in a world that rewards conformity, but real connection and confidence come from authenticity.

Especially in business, sales, and entrepreneurship, people can sense when someone isn’t comfortable in their own skin. They can see right through the act. The people who perform at the highest level are the ones who show up as themselves, because that’s where trust is built. I want readers to understand that when you own who you are, not only do you feel better personally, but you actually perform better professionally. Being different isn’t a disadvantage. It’s the multiplier.

4) What drew you into this particular genre?

It wasn’t something I was drawn to. It was something I was forced to live through. Growing up, I experienced a lot of hate for who I was and spent years feeling like I had to hide parts of who I was just to survive. I learned early on how to adapt, blend in, and make myself smaller so I wouldn’t stand out.

Everything changed when I finally stopped hiding and started owning who I was. Once I did that, things began to fall into place in a way I never expected. My confidence grew, my relationships improved, and my career took off both personally and financially. This platform, my book, gave me the space to tell that story honestly while also showing others that the path forward doesn’t come from blending in, it comes from embracing who you are and building from there.

5) What social media site has been the most helpful in developing your readership?

Instagram has been the most impactful platform for me. It allowed me to show up as myself in real time and build genuine relationships rather than just broadcasting messages. Through storytelling, short-form video, and consistent engagement, I was able to connect with people who resonated with my journey and my message.

What made Instagram especially powerful was that it rewarded authenticity. People weren’t looking for perfection. They wanted honesty, consistency, and someone they could trust. Over time, that trust turned into a community, and that community naturally became readers of the book.

6) What advice would you give to aspiring or just starting authors out there?

I wouldn’t even consider myself a writer. I see myself more as a storyteller and an educator. Writing wasn’t something that came naturally to me, and it took me about three years to finish this book because I was learning as I went.

The best advice I can give is to just keep writing and worry about editing later. Don’t edit along the way. Get everything out of your head and onto the page first. Once it’s all there, then you can go back and do your 100 read-throughs to shape it into something meaningful.

7) What does the future hold in store for you? Any new books/projects on the horizon?

Right now, I’m focused on continuing the conversation that this book started. I want to spend time connecting with readers, speaking, and helping people apply these ideas in real life, not just on the page.

I do already have a few topics in mind for a second book, but that’s still a long way off. When the time comes, it will likely move beyond personal branding and focus on another practical skill people can use to be more successful in both their personal and financial lives. I haven’t started writing anything and probably won’t for a while. For now, I’d like to help people feel comfortable in their own skin. Because people don’t realize it, but they are already Unforgettable.
