PUNK ROCK AND YA DYSTOPIAN READS

The month of June was packed full of some great reads and some amazing music I was lucky enough to review. A couple of stand outs were a review of artist Bullets and Butterflies new single “Not Yours To Lose” and a review of author Tricia Copeland’s “Lovelock Ones.”

Getting Back to Writing

I am determined now more than ever to return to my writing space. It’s been a few years since i sat down to write out a full story (aside from a short story or two), and right now I have two projects in mind. I want to rewrite my Nightmare Wars series, starting with Book One, which will allow me to use the experiences i’ve had since I was a young adult to reframe and rework the story to fit my vision for future stories in this series, and the other is the final chapter of the YA novella series Nightmare Academy, a prequel to the Nightmare Wars series. I am hoping to turn all three novellas into the first novel of this YA series, and will be working to finally get that written and ready for release this winter. If you’ve read any of the Nightmare Academy books, what is one character or storyline you want to see explored more in future stories?
