Jason Lazarus Releases Litigation to Life: An Injury Victim’s Guide to Navigating the Settlement Process

A groundbreaking resource empowering injury victim with clarity, confidence, and control during one of life’s most challenging journeys

Special needs planning authority and nationally recognized thought leader Jason Lazarus announces the release of his newest book, Litigation to Life: An Injury Victim’s Guide to Navigating the Settlement Process — a comprehensive, plain-language guide designed to help injury victims understand, prepare for, and successfully navigate the complex world of personal-injury settlements.

Drawing on decades of experience working alongside injury victims, trial lawyers, and financial professionals, Lazarus delivers a resource that demystifies the settlement process from start to finish. The book blends legal insight with practical guidance, offering readers a clear roadmap through medical liens, government benefit preservation, financial planning, and the emotional realities that accompany life after litigation.

Jason Lazarus had just set out to meet the Florida dawn and his cycling buddies when a truck veered into the bike lane. He awoke in Orlando’s level one trauma center—jaw wired shut, on a ventilator, every bone in his face broken.

A grueling recovery and litigation process followed—as an expert attorney in the field of settlement planning, Jason had an idea of what came next. However, his own experience as a personal injury victim gave him a newfound appreciation for his work and his clients, who seldom know how to best protect and advocate for themselves when settling their personal injury cases.

Jason wrote Litigation to Life to help injury survivors by demystifying the healthcare, financial, and legal considerations of the settlement process. The book guides injury victims through the settlement challenges following major accidents, empowering them to confidently transition from litigation to settlement and reclaim their lives.

A Guide Built for Real People Facing Real Challenges

In Litigation to Life, Lazarus addresses the questions injury victims often struggle to ask — and the ones they don’t yet know they should. The book provides:

  • Step-by-step settlement guidance — from initial claim to final disbursement
  • Clear explanations of legal and financial terminology
  • Strategies for protecting long-term financial stability
  • Insights into government benefits, trusts, and settlement planning techniques
  • Emotional and practical considerations after a settlement

Lazarus’s mission is simple: to empower injury victims with knowledge so they can make informed, confident decisions about their future.
