It is a practical and inspiring resource for product managers, emphasizing the importance of innovation, adaptability, and customer focus in achieving success.
Pablo Kaplan is a Product Innovation expert with over 35 years of experience and thousands of successful products. He is the founder of Wheelchairs of Hope, a humanitarian initiative providing affordable wheelchairs for children in less developed areas.
During my tenure leading the intern innovation program at Keter, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Pablo Kaplan and to observe firsthand his disciplined approach to product development and organizational leadership. Recognizing the depth of his professional expertise, I later invited him to teach in the Master’s Program at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where his structured methodology and clarity of thought contributed meaningfully to the academic discourse on product design, development, and innovation. This volume reflects the same rigor, experience, and insight that have long distinguished his work.

THE REVIEW
This was an insightful and engaging read. Innovative and business-minded readers will easily flock to this book, as the author writes in a matter-of-fact way that leaves readers feeling both educated and inspired. Rather than leaning into the creative aspect of product innovation, the author curates a structured, focused process that homes in on smart decision-making and thought processes. The author lays out the process of transforming ideas into the kinds of products people will love and buy, and gives great examples of how modern technology helps with this innovation, including companies like IKEA.
The role A.I. plays in this process is also explored thoroughly. The computing power and innovative way A.I. can connect these ideas to the products people design, and the emphasis on the speed of productivity it offers, are a driving force behind. The author’s book reflects the way customers think about product development as a whole. The author crafts a well-maintained guide that infuses a lot of educational information into a fast-paced read.
THE VERDICT
Memorable, innovative, and educational, author Pablo Kaplan’s “The Product Blueprint” is a must-read in nonfiction business and technology. The level of detail, numerous references, and educational materials the author uses to illustrate these points, including a multitude of examples to back up these facts, will motivate and inspire many to help in their own process of creating products that will resonate with customers.
